Nautique Club is the new way to enjoy boating, based on the French Riviera, we reduce the hassle and cost of ownership of more than one new boats to less than the berthing cost of one.
THE MEMBERSHIP
No hidden expenses, but you do have to pay for your own fuel that you use (mostly this around 50-70 euros per day, and any costs associated with any formal training you need from a 3rd party training centre, typically around 400 euros.
Yes! Unlike other clubs, we do not load on extra costs for insurance! We cover you and any fully qualified adult in your family
Members have to pay the full year up front. Sadly, when we offered monthly payments, people failed to pay during the winter which spoiled the club for everyone.
BOOKINGS & USING THE APP
We offer a very easy to use phone app that handles all aspects of bookings, amendments, cencellations etc. We provide full training on inception of the membership – but it is super easy to use!
During the hours of light. We ask that if you plan to collect the boat before 9am you let us know in advance so we can be sure to have finished cleaning and fueling ahead of your arrival. If you wish to keep the boat out after dark, we can discuss this with you to ensure you have the required skills to navigate after dark and feel confident to get back to port safely.
INTRODUCTION & TRAINING
Yes, we work with a handful of carefully selected, friendly and experienced captains.
Yes! We work closely with the two main training centres locally and have a long relationship with them. Their courses are two days and can be taken with up to five family members at once!
BOATS & MAINTENANCE
The boat is licenced for up to 12 people and is perfectly comfortable for 8.
The whole front of the boat is a sunbed big enough for two 6’4 people to sunbathe next to eachother. Additionally the rear dining area can be very easily truned into a huge sunbed the full width of the boat, easily accommodating 3 full size adults next to one another.
On board you will find everything you will need to make your day enjoyable
- Bluetooth stereo
- Sun shade
- Sunbathing cushions
- Private toilet enclosure
- Modern touchscreen plotter/sounder (like a sat nav for the water)
- Fresh water shower on the swimming platform (with ladder)
- A fridge to keep your rosé cool!
- Full compliment of safety gear including 12 lifejackets and flares kit
- VHF Radio
RIB stands for Rigid Inflatable Boat.
Of course it can happen, but it is very very unlikely. We pick Honda engines because they are known to be bulletproof. We also over maintain the boats – we do all engine maintenance ahead of schedule and visit the boats daily. In the very unlikely event you break down at sea, we will be on hand to come out in another boat to rescue you very quickly.
Our boats cruise comfortably and economically at 27-30 knots, but can push 40 knots flat out in the right conditions.
No. We ensure the boat is fueled when you arrive. If you are planning a very long journey, please let us know in advance and we will make sure the boat is completely full for your booking.
You are able to refuel the boat yourself if you wish to help out (we really appreciate this!), this is handled through the app and involves you taking a quick photo of your fuel receipt. The number of litres is deducted from your next fuel bill.
We are able to help rent any of the above. Additionally we can offer jet ski rental and Yamaha Seawing rental.
