ILES DES LERINS
About a mile off the coast of Cannes and with easy reach of both the boats, from Port Gallice (5 mins cruise) and the Port La Rague (15 mins cruise). The Iles Des Lerins remain a remarkably unspoilt oasis of clear blue water perfect for days at anchor, swimming and tanning on board. The islands are owned by a working monastery and a nunnery and are open to the public to wander the many beautiful pine lined paths of the islands looking for a quiet spot for a picnic. The islands are also very well served by two restaurants: La Tonnelle, a beautiful, quiet, low key escape from the rigors of day to day life with fine seafood and La Guerite an equally beautiful spot, albeit much more lively – it is THE place to see and be seen with regulars including Elton John (who did an impromptu concert in 2021) and JayZ and Beyonce and U2’s Bono.

On the east side of the Cap D’Antibes, about a 20 Minute cruise from Port Gallice is La Garoupe Plage, a really beautiful spot to anchor and head ashore for lunch at one of the several beach restaurants, ranging from snacks at Petit Plage to a very refined luncheon at Plage Keller famous in the region for amazing views and fantastic seafood.
