FROM PORT LA RAGUE

CANNES MANDELIEU
Cannes marina has an excellent visitors quay that will allow you enough time to do a bit of shopping or have lunch in one of the many restaurants near the port for free or a bit longer for a small fee payable locally.

POINT L’AGUILE & CABANE PECHEUR
A stones throw from the mouth of the port is the popular destination of the Pointe D’Aguile (Eagles Rock) where you drop the anchor and swim in crystal clear water. Depending on your constitution you can choose to jump off the high rocks (at your own risk!!) found on shore, or watch the more daring do so from the cave that cuts through under the cliffs from which you can swim from one side to the other.
After your cliff jumping adventures, head just along the coast a few hundred meters for a coffee and an ice cream at the easy going Cabane Pecheurs (and by coffee I mean Mojito!)

THEOULE
Theoule-Sur-Mer is another hotspot for the rich and famous boasting the highest cost per square footage in the world. The more observant will notice Pierre Cardins architectural masterpiece of ‘Bubble’ houses high on the cliffs. For boaters though it is a peaceful corner of the bay of Cannes where you can escape some of the higher traffic areas and swim or sunbathe in peace.

THE ESTEREL MASSIF
Comprising the iron ore red rocks that make up much of the far skyline when viewed from Cannes, the Esterel is the seafront road that joins Cannes with Frejus and beyond. The coast is a series of small inlets into tiny bays where you can anchor in seclusion and a take in some of the most beautiful scenery on offer from the French Riviera.

AGAY
Follow the Esterel along from La Rague for around half an hours cruise and you will find yourself at the bay of Agay. Agay is a natural Horseshow bay the offers sheltered mooring bouys for safe and easy tying up while you visit the local restaurants and beach clubs. Agay is also an excellent stopping off point either on the way to or from St Tropez.
On the right as you enter the bay, you will see a number of bouys available to tie off on for the day for a small fee. Included in the fee is transport to the shore and back on bord the managements boat – helpful when you can’t face the swim back after lunch.

ST TROPEZ
Needing little introduction is the small seaside village made world-famous by Bridgit Bardot and the many famous people that followed her there. Today it retains the glamour, while still managing to pull off being a small seaside village.

PAMPELONNE BEACH
Home to the most perfect blue waters of the entire coast and a mile and half of perfect white sand beaches, Pampelonne is rightfully popular with boaters from all along the coast. Choosing to linger at anchor is a pleasure, swimming and sunbathing until sunset in time for the cruise home (about 45 minutes or so) or if you prefer you can visit one of the many beach bars there, where you will find those catering to families and those where dancing on the tables is a daily occurrence.

RESTAURANTS AND DELIVERY OPTIONS
Fancy staying on board? You will find the options for food delivered by boat to be second to none in the region with pizza, sushi, cocktails, ice cream and even your espressos when you’ve finished your lunch all available from the various delivery boats plying their trade.
